The Al Ghazal story
It began as a family's dream… and grew with people's trust.
From a small restaurant in Tulkarm to a food manufacturer
Al Ghazal's story began in 1989 in the city of Tulkarm, Palestine, as a small family business founded by Nimer Hussein and Muna Younis. It started from a modest hummus and falafel restaurant next to the family home.
With simple means and big ambition, the dream grew year after year. As customers' trust and demand grew, working and production methods developed, and Al Ghazal gradually moved from a small family business to a company specialised in manufacturing and marketing food products.
Along the way the company faced many challenges: economic and political conditions, the events of the Second Intifada, the loss of founder Nimer Hussein in 2019, and then the COVID-19 pandemic with its disruption of markets and supply chains.
Despite all of this, Al Ghazal kept developing, and kept its presence and its consumers' trust.
